Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Manager to join our team in Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of rotating equipment solutions to new and existing customers within the assigned territory. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our business while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the rotating equipment sector.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
3. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at target accounts.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer service, to ensure customer needs are met and inquiries are addressed promptly.
5. Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers, offering solutions that align with their requirements and objectives.
6. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
7. Negotiate contracts and terms of sale, ensuring favorable outcomes for both the company and the customer.
8. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
9. Travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct site visits as needed.
10. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business development efforts using CRM software.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
2. Proven track record of success in outside sales, particularly in the rotating equipment industry.
3. Strong technical aptitude with a comprehensive understanding of rotating equipment and related applications.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with customers and colleagues.
7. Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
8. Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
