As the Director of Purchasing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of procurement operations, overseeing the sourcing and acquisition of materials, services, and resources essential to the success of our prestigious projects. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Develop and implement strategic procurement initiatives aligned with the organization's objectives, optimizing cost efficiency and mitigating supply chain risks.
Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and agreements to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials and services.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including construction, engineering, and finance, to support project timelines and budgetary requirements.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments, leveraging insights to drive informed decision-making and enhance procurement strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven track record of success in procurement leadership roles within the real estate development industry, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
Strong negotiation skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools, along with a solid understanding of contract management principles and best practices.
