Job description
We're seeking a results-oriented Materials Manager to orchestrate our production, inventory, shipping, warehousing, and purchasing operations. You'll be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service while optimizing costs and efficiency.
What You'll Do:
- Mastermind production schedules based on customer requirements
- Ensure timely product deliveries
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Analyze plant capacity and address potential shortfalls
- Manage inventory levels and track reports meticulously
- Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) through data-driven decisions
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including BIC and lean principles
- Foster seamless communication across shifts and departments
- Actively participate in problem-solving and project teams
- Implement and audit standardized work procedures
- Train, develop, and evaluate team members
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or production planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Commitment to safety and compliance
- Passion for continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles

- Experience in the automotive industry
- Understanding of BIC and TQM principles
