Kwik Trip's Information Security Department: is seeking an individual to join our team as an Information Security Engineer specializing in Cloud and DevSecOps. As an Information Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal part in securing our cloud infrastructure and development pipelines. Responsibilities include Designing and implementing robust security controls for cloud environments, conducting thorough security assessments of cloud services, and integrating security into the DevSecOps lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure secure coding practices, automate security processes, and champion best practices for cloud security. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments of cloud services and technologies to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the DevSecOps lifecycle, promoting secure coding practices and automating security processes.
• Advise and guide development teams on secure coding practices, application security, and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
• Contribute to the development and execution of incident response plans specific to cloud environments, minimizing impact during security incidents.
• Establish continuous monitoring practices and implement effective threat detection mechanisms to identify and respond to security events promptly.
• Ensure adherence to security compliance standards and governance frameworks relevant to cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a security-aware culture and provide training to internal teams on cloud and DevSecOps security best practices.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in a related field and at least five years of related experience.
• Driven to develop skills in information security, cloud, development, etc.…
• Strong understanding of security principles and practices.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday (hybrid), daytime hours with a rotation cycle for on call .  Work on weekends, holidays, and non-business hours may be required.
