Title: Senior Windows Server Engineer (Architect)
Duration: 3+ Months
Location: Onsite: 9950 Woodloch Forest Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77380
Rate: $70/hr - $80/hr
Requirements:
Job Description:
Provide Windows platform problem resolution including providing support for Windows related issues. Develop and implement best practices and engineering standards for Windows Server configuration and optimization and provide engineering support for Windows Servers.
Knowledge and application of scripting and other power shell and programming languages that will support management and configuration of applications.
Testing prior to deployment to production
Development of and compliance with baselines
Deployment of security configurations, and
Patch management for both physical & virtual servers
Installs, configures, and maintains the organization's Systems and Alert Management applications.
Manages performance both software and hardware
MSSQL Server
Verify and run scripts written by Technical Services in Production
System architecture and tiered application knowledge
Create and modify security groups:
Manage and troubleshoot of domain controllers
Manage and maintain of fileservers, services, and users
Monitor server performance, security related events and resolve their problems
Backing up and restoring data
