Job description
This is a temporary role through Magnit for a leading technology company in the world. The perference is for this to be a fully onsite role to Santa Clara, CA. However, candidates living in PST location who are a great fit for the role will be considered for remote work.
Job Title: Senior Application Developer
What you get to do in this role:
- As a Senior software Application Developer, you will be a key member of the GTMP DT group with the opportunity and responsibility to design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow Platform.
- Work closely with the Product Owners and Business System Analysts to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of the high-quality product to end users.
- Create technical design documents from functional requirements through analysis of business processes and discussion with the business process owners.
- Debug and performance tune applications.
- You will be working in a high-velocity collaborative team using agile software development methodology.
In order to qualify for and be successful in this role, you should have:
- 10+ years of experience.
- Experienced in ServiceNow development, Javascript, Angular JS or React JS
- Good understanding of SQL, JSON, AJAX, HTML/CSS/jQuery, XML concepts and Bootstrap
- Experience with software design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and building REST/SOAP APIs
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Team player and good communication skills
- Follows coding standards & can maintain them even when the pressure is on.
- Familiarity with user experience design will be a plus
Non-negotiable skills:
Development on ServiceNow Platform, Advanced Javascript/UI development frameworks like Angular, React, HTML, CSS
Negotiable skills:
Servicenow Experience, Business process knowledge
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ IT/ Data Sciences/ Business Administration or related fields
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $60-$80/hour W-2
