Job description
BLS Endo shift is Monday through Friday 0700-1530. However, depending on department needs, that may adjust an hour before or after 0700 start time. Call essentially begins after clocked out for any given day. For example, 1530- 0700 next day. Weekend call (Saturday and or Sunday) is from 0700-0700 the following day. Full time endo tech with 2 years experience in upper endoscopy and lower endoscopy with diagnostic interventions. He/She will need to have experience in ERCP's with interventions. Bronchoscopy with intervention is also required. Scope washing and maintenance is crucial. Must be able to work in GI lab setting with Nursing staff and also Endo experience within the operating room. Must get along well with others. Shift varies based on facility needs. A typical work week is 40 hours/week. Must be able to take call on a weekday and weekend basis.
