Job Title: Welder
Location: Temple, TX (2nd shift position)
Salary: $17 - $22/HR (Depending on Experience)
Requirements: High School diploma, GED or Technical School/ 1+ years of MIG welding experience

- AWS D1.1 Certification or other welding certification (Plus)
- Familiar with micrometers, calipers and/or gages to check accuracy (Helpful)

What You Will Be Doing

- Use MIG welding equipment and a turntable
- Verify parts for conformance to specification using measuring devices
- Manually guides electrode or gun along weld lines
- Maintain length of arc & speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion & bead
- Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead position
- Examines weld for bead size & other specifications
- Applies filler rod manually to supply weld metal

What You Need for this Position

- 1+ years of related experience (MIG)
- High School diploma/GED or Technical School
- Welding experience (plus)
- AWS Certification (plus)
- Certified on fillet welds according to WTT
