Description/Notes:

Henrietta ISD is accepting applications for the Director of Finance/Business Manager who directs and manages the business operations of the district including accounting, payroll, and purchasing. Provide leadership for the district’s financial services activity to ensure legally sound and effective management practices. Direct and monitor the management and investment of all the district funds to ensure they are adequately protected.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or school business experience with a TASBO Certification.

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of budgeting, accounting systems, and payroll processing
Working knowledge of financial applications and accounting
Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and perform data analysis
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to interpret data
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills

Experience:
Preferred years’ experience in school business management or public organization
