Salary: $20/hr


Express Employment is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join a reputable local company in Lewiston as a full-time Medical Bookkeeper and Billing Specialist. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in organizing patient medical costs, managing billing processes for Medicaid, Medicare, VA, and supervisory billing experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity for those with a strong background in bookkeeping and medical billing to contribute to our dynamic healthcare environment.



Responsibilities:

• Organize patient medical costs and generate invoices for timely collection of payments from patients and insurers.
• Handle billing processes specifically for Medicaid, Medicare, VA, and supervisory billing.
• Communicate with patients to discuss payment options and develop reasonable payment plans.
• Enter patient data into administrative systems accurately.
• Record and maintain information about outstanding claims.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in bookkeeping and medical billing is required.
• Specific experience in Medicaid, Medicare, VA, and supervisory billing is highly desired.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to be seated for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
