Job description
The Cleaning Attendant is a critical position that demonstrates a passion for maintaining the gym facilities, amenities, and equipment in a “like-new” condition always. The care into delivering “clean and crisp” throughout the gym is essential in ensuring a welcoming, safe, and healthy operation. That care creates a warm, kind, and hospitable environment for team members and members alike.
Reports to:
General Manager
Responsibilities:
Greets all members & guests with a smile
Knows club facility, services and schedules
Performs cleaning activities in accordance with the cleaning playbook and checklists
Operates with a sense of urgency to ensure cleaning requirements are completed in a timely manner
Maintains a professional and courteous disposition
Maintains a clean and organized work area
Competencies:
Strives to execute at a level to exceed performance expectations
Passionate about maintaining cleanliness to “hospital-like” standards
Proficient reading and writing skills
Strong customer service orientation
Demonstrates knowledge of the Crunch brand and offerings
Maintains friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members, and guests
Physical Demands:
This is a physical role requiring the employee to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may require standing or bending for prolonged work hours. S/he must also be able to safely climb a ladder when needed.
Required Education and Experience:
Cleaning experience in a service-oriented environment is desirable
On the job training is provided
CPR/AED certified or can complete within 30 days from hire
Compensation Package:
Part-time and full-time positions are available
