Hybrid: This position requires an employee to be on-site at a GM facility full-time most of the week to perform most effectively. The employee’s role also enables them to work off-site less frequently as needed on specific circumstances.

Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) group supports the definition, design, and development of continuously improving mobility services. SDV is a new vehicle intelligence platform that will underpin all our future innovations across a wide range of technological advancements, including EVs and expanded automated driving. This means that you can potentially put a fingerprint on the vehicles that drive down the road! This space is ripe with technical leadership opportunities for advanced technology development, as well as the ability to provide mentorship for new employees. As a Software Test Engineer in Ultifi, you’ll be part of a dynamic agile team to test and continuously deliver app store and over-the-air (OTA) capabilities into hundreds of millions of vehicles per year. This critical role will be accountable for understanding requirements, writing/updating test cases, executing test cases, opening quality defects, triage support, troubleshooting customer feedback and provide innovative test solutions and SME support for features assigned within the defined agile program increments. You will be part of the agile scrum team that will design tests, execute, and automate for mobile, web and in-vehicle products/apps. You will have proficiency working in a DevOps, Continuous Testing, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery framework for the release of in-vehicle, mobile, web and other products/apps.
