Parkview Health , the largest non-profit health system in northeast Indiana, is currently seeking a board eligible/board certified Hospitalist to join our well established  Hospital Medicine team in Fort Wayne, Indiana !

Specifics of the Hospitalist Role

Physicians work on a 7 on / 7 off schedule

• Traditional Role/Days: 168 shifts (24 weeks per year)
• Nocturnist Role: 140 Night shifts (20 weeks per year)

• Collegial group of 73 physicians and 32 advanced practice providers who are focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and who take pride in the exceptional teamwork and collegiality that exists among team members.
• Our group is based out of Parkviews flagship hospital, Parkview Regional Medical Center , located on the north side of Fort Wayne, Indiana and our urban-sized hospital, Parkview Hospital Randallia

• In 2014, Parkview invested more than $65 million into this hospital in the form of physical renovations , care model transformation and physician recruitment
• 244 beds
• Open ICU model

• $575 million-dollar tertiary medical center opened its doors in 2012
• 450-bed state-of-the-art facility
• Due to growing demand, the system is adding an additional 6-floor tower including a 72 new inpatient beds and additional shelled space for projected future growth.
• Closed ICU model
