WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN PROGRAM MANAGER
DAY-TO-DAY
While working as a Program Manager with our human services nonprofit, you play a pivotal role in developing and implementing the Pathways to Recovery program for adults who have been impacted by opioid use. Your responsibilities encompass creating and executing a comprehensive program including job exploration counseling, workplace readiness training, and guidance on training opportunities and apprenticeships. You also manage the fiscal aspects of the Pathways To Recovery program budget and engage with employers, educational institutions, and other key stakeholders to raise awareness of the program. Additionally, you refer eligible individuals to relevant services, develop tailored employment plans, and provide necessary support services based on each participant's Individual Employment Plan (IEP). You also maintain thorough documentation, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and offering placement and job coaching to participants as needed. This management role oversees the training of employment/placement specialists, reviews case notes, and adapts to fieldwork in New Jersey, including Montclair, Morris, and Sussex counties.
This full-time Program Manager position requires remote work capabilities , necessitating reliable internet access beyond the confines of a traditional office. You work at least 40 hours per week .
