Job description

White Horse Village (WHV), a prestigious retirement community located in Newtown Square, PA is seeking to add part-time drivers to our team! WHV offers housing and healthcare services for older adults, and is a community that lives out its mission to intentionally create opportunities for extraordinary living in a vibrant, diverse community through personal growth, connectedness and relationships. WHV seeks team members committed to quality service who are looking to make a difference in our residents’ lives. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with older adults, and are interested in having a flexible and/or part-time schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Driving residents to medical appointments/trips/community outings
• Assist in maintaining vehicles
• Assist with the Preventative Maintenance Program on vehicles.
• Comply with all OSHA and CDC regulations
• Assist residents with packages, assistive devices such as canes/walkers as needed
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• CDL and non-CDL positions available
• A demonstrated commitment to safety
• Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
• Experience working with older adults preferred, but not required
• At least 1 year of driving passengers
• Valid driver’s license in PA
• Clean driving record
• All WHV team members must be COVID-19 vaccinated and have an annual flu vaccine
