Salary: Pay for this position is determined by the Instructional Support Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. $16.68-17.68 per hour/Minimum Pay

Purpose of the Job: Primary: Provide daily supervision, mentoring, and counseling to students serving in the In-School Suspension (ISS) program. The ability to manage multiple programs within one room is essential to the success of the program.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma
Certification: NA
Experience: working with 6-12 grade students preferred
Licenses/Certificates: Valid Colorado Driver’s License
Other Criteria: - Criminal background check required for hire.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a school atmosphere with staff members, students and the public.
- Ability to effectively read, write, speak and listen to comply with directions and instructions to complete tasks and establish priorities.
- Integrity, trust and work ethic to be able to work with little supervision.
- Competent understanding of technology to perform the job.
- Must pass pre-employment physical
- Ability to perform light lifting and moving of product (up to 50lbs)
- Effective Communication and Social Skills
- Possess and maintain a First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to obtain within first year
- Received, or willing to receive within the first year, training in non-violent crisis intervention
- Completed or willing to complete FEMA IS 100, Introduction to Incident Command Systems for Schools within the first 60 days of employment.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a school atmosphere with staff members, students and the public
- Implements appropriate physical and technical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of district data
- Maintains good security practices with passwords and accounts to the various district systems and applications.
- Reports actual or suspected breaches in the confidentiality, integrity or availability of district data to appropriate district personnel.
- Follows all board policies for acceptable use of district technology.
- Model the District's Mission and Belief Statements.

- General knowledge of office practices and procedures, use of office equipment and communication skills including computer knowledge and word processing
- Ability to work harmoniously with administrators, staff, students and the public
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality with respect to student, parent and staff information that is private, sensitive and personal. - Monitor students inside the buildings, reviewing passes and student movement throughout school hours
- Supervise school grounds, enforce parking policies, and monitor vehicle traffic
- Monitor parking areas and surrounding campus areas
- Inside and outside environments which involve standing and walking throughout the day, with outside supervisory duties in inclement weather
- Work with the administration in developing and maintaining the safety and security policies
- Serve as a liaison with the School Resource Officer in maintaining a safe and secure environment throughout the campus
- Be an active member of the Building Safety and Emergency Response Team
- Assist with school emergency and safety drills
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge, Equipment & Other: Strong computer skills, especially possessing knowledge of Infinite Campus and Google Sheets.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None other than the students assigned to ISS.

The noise level in the work environment ranges is generally quiet with occasional increase when working events or with equipment. Classroom and 1:1 settings as well as possible outside supervisory duties in inclement weather. Must be able to work in person.
