Job description

Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, is recruiting an early to mid-career stage pediatric endocrinologist. The successful candidate would join our internationally renowned section of eighteen pediatric endocrinologists and eight advanced practice providers involved in clinical care and clinical research in general endocrinology, diabetes, obesity, and metabolic bone disease.

The candidate will devote most of their efforts to complementing our basic science research endeavors in the field of diabetes. They should be able to plan and carry out experiments and investigations under the mentorship of senior researchers.

The candidate should also be competent in the care of common endocrine conditions in the outpatient setting and provide care independently. In addition, the applicant must have expertise in the provision of clinical care in inpatient setting and the supervision of pediatric residents and endocrinology fellows. The candidate should have both passion and skill for not only teaching, but also in implementing curriculum and other educational materials for trainees at all levels.
