Job Summary:

Are you ready to take your career to new heights? Disney Aviation Group, based in Burbank, California, is the corporate flight department for The Walt Disney Company, with a long history of operating jet aircraft.

Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the Aircraft Flight Engineer will travel domestically and internationally on state-of-the-art jet aircraft (Gulfstream 650) with senior executive staff and talent. The Aircraft Flight Engineer coordinates and manages all requirements to provide the best passenger safety, service and comfort while aboard all Disney Aviation Group aircraft.

The Aircraft Flight Engineer will perform maintenance, handle repairs and certify maintenance in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration rules and regulations, ensuring the aircraft is certified for continued flight operations. This role is primarily based onboard the aircraft (galley & cabin), with occasional work in an office environment.

The Aircraft Flight Engineer is known for their ability to work collaboratively in groups and to build working relationships to enhance team effectiveness within the department.

The hiring range for this position in California is $112,100.00 - $150,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
