Job description

Located in Aiken, SC, the Parish and School Business Manager keeps St. Mary Help of Christians' financial house in order. Because the Parish is a moral leader in the Aiken community, he/she it must exhibit exemplary ethical and legal performance, controls and reporting in the financial area. The Parish and School Business Manage performs a key role in maintaining the integrity of St. Mary parish and school through oversight of Parish financial policies, requirements, and processes. The Parish and School Business Manager also completes the role by:

• overseeing Parish and School financial policies, requirements and processes
• reporting the financial status of ongoing programs and/or new initiatives
• support higher administration in overseeing Parish Human Resources policies, requirements and processes
• consult with vendors on employee health, vision, and life insurance benefits as well as employee retirement services, benefits and processes.
• overseeing Parish and School Bookkeeper, requirements and processes

Completes the role by following general bookkeeping processes as well as maintaining cemetery records and issuing contracts/internment rights.
