Job description

This is a contract-to-hire position located in Bloomington, MN. $23-$23.75/hr. Upon permanent rollover you will be eligible for competitive wages, offered great benefits and yearly bonuses if target goals are met. 

1st shift positions are typically Monday-Friday 6a-230p with overtime beginning at least 2-3 hours prior to shift (3a-5a). 2nd shift positions are typically Monday-Friday, 3p-1130pm or 3p-130am with OT. 

Candidates must be available with OT averaging 50-55 hrs/week and scheduled OT on 2 of the 4 Saturdays per month. 

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

*Examine and feels surfaces for defects, chip and will grind, contour part to specified requirements

*Grinds and smoothes surfaces to remove any imperfections or stray metal parts

*The operator works with medium to large size castings

*Stack, sort, move castings to various departments along with travel documents with correct work summary documented

*Acquire additional certifications to engage as required for work/career development 

*Comply with all safety standards

*MUST MEET MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
