Job Summary
Responsible for managing the Child Welfare Early Education Partnership (CWEEP) project in Duval and Nassau Counties. This includes enhancing the current infrastructure in order for FSSNF and childcare agencies to collaborate so that all children birth through five years receive quality childcare services.
Essential Job Duties
· Coordinate and facilitate meetings/workgroups between FSSNF, Early Childhood Education (ECE) in Duval/Nassau Counties, the judiciary, parents/caregivers, etc.
· Create/enhance policies, procedures, initiatives, workflow process, screening protocol, and communication to increase opportunities for young children to attend quality early learning programs
· Coordinate, write, and oversee action plan for the CWEEP grant
· Work with Program Evaluator by collecting needed data for evaluation and submitting as needed
· Conduct public outreach activities by disseminating information and making presentation about CWEEP activities, outcomes, accomplishments, to community organizations, agencies, parents/caregivers, providers, employer groups, etc.
· Enhance childcare outreach and support, working with providers and other agencies to increase availability for underserved populations to strategically increase supply and quality of childcare services
· Cross train with entities impacting early childhood education and develop an understanding of all early childhood services and opportunities
· Prepare required program reports on a monthly, quarterly, yearly, and as needed basis
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Master’s degree preferred.
· Proven combination of education and experience which demonstrates the ability to lead, manage, enhance, and promote the assigned programs of the agency. Two years of responsible experience in systems improvement may be substituted for a master’s degree.
· Valid driver’s license.
Schedule & Hours
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (Hybrid schedule post probationary period-90 days)
