Job Summary:
Disney Corporate Creative Resources (DCCR) is a multi-disciplinary creative agency that provides services and solutions to a broad array of functional areas within The Walt Disney Company including D23: The Official Disney Fan Club. As DCCR continues to solidify its position as the internal creative agency of record supporting a cross-section of corporate business units, the graphic design team handles a wide range of design responsibilities.
The Senior Digital Graphic Designer is responsible for driving a variety of projects for DCCR clients. This position is essential to effectively communicating messaging across the organization and externally which includes websites, mobile apps, email campaigns, online ads, brand and identity, presentations, and virtual and in-person events.
This is a Project Hire (PH) role with a duration of approximately 30 months

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating digital and/or print creative assets. You’ll craft assets that tell the story of our products, including adaptable websites, mobile apps, email campaigns, online ads, brand and identity, and presentations.
- Focuses on designing all types of digital brand expression, including vector-based that can be both static or motion for digital, web, and mobile applications (landing pages, digital banners, ads, etc.)
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, developers, and marketers, to translate project requirements into engaging digital designs.
- Collaborate with UI /UX team to design user-friendly digital experiences, including wireframes, high fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to test responsive design concepts.
- Explore and develop logos, brand identity, design systems, and style guide initiatives. Help define and build out a cohesive visual digital language for internal teams to follow.
- Brainstorm and conceptualize design solutions that align with project goals and user needs, providing creative direction and mentorship to junior designers.
- Share knowledge of user-centered design principles, digital methodologies, design industry trends (typography, and color theory), new technologies, and design tools.
- Interpret and complete creative briefs while applying team workflows and processes using established tasks management systems.
- Evaluate design problems and develop strong solutions while incorporating direction from marketing and creative leads.
- Effectively communicate across departments and with partners as needed. Be able to present and defend work while engaging in feedback for continuous improvement of the brand.
- Be an authority and lead multiple projects, timelines, and clients at once. Deliver successfully on multiple deadlines while maintaining high standards.

Basic Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful digital projects. Experience creating animations and motion graphics preferred.
- Expertise: Proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch, including prototyping tools and presentation applications.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with web/digital technologies (HTML, CSS), content management systems, and production methods and constraints required. Understanding how design decisions impact development preferred
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead multiple design projects at a time, mentor junior designers, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges, ambiguity, and changes with positive attitude.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present design concepts and intent to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to work in our Glendale office four days a week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in digital design
- Experience in motion graphics
- Background in entertainment and working with IP, a plus
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or related field.
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $77,100.00-$103,400.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
