Job description
Position Purpose and Nature of Work:
The Marketing Manager role at St. John Vianney Academy is tasked with sharing the program's mission to the Catholic community within Kern county.
- Communication internally and externally; Staff, Students, Parents, Supporters, Parishes, etc. Example - Monthly newsletter.
- Attendance of and Participation in All Board Meetings unless excused. Marketing Manager Report to be provided.
- Participation in all fundraisers and building fundraising teams.
- Scheduling and conducting of at least four general information sessions per year.
- Attendance at a minimum of two local community meetings or events a month.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Love of our Lord Jesus Christ, Children, the Catholic Faith, and Classical Education.
- Faithful Catholic in good standing with the Church. Faithful to the teachings of the Church.
- Role model within the community, committed to providing a Gospel witness, with a high priority of personal virtue.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated success working collaboratively with team members, and individually
- Strong attention to detail and deadlines and ability to flex to changing needs
- Ability and willingness to engage the greater community with information about SJVA and the great work being done with the goal of increasing enrollment and financial support.
