Job description
We are a growing and well-respected West Coast-based food-related retailer who is adding a Regulatory Affairs Document Specialist focused on our Private Labeling across several brands and states. This role will be instrumental in managing documentation, developing labels, and ensuring compliance mandated by Federal, State, and City Regulatory entities for all Private Label items.
**This is NOT a remote position**

Regulatory Affairs Specialist Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in a Regularity Affairs/Compliance specialist or manager role in the food industry with Private Labeling experience
- Preferred Bachelors degree in Food Science or related field
- Must have Regulatory Affairs experience in food or consumer product industries; must have FDA and USDA compliance experience
- Must be extremely detail-oriented and highly organized; strong multitasking abilities
- Clear and precise written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively and cross-functional between internal and external teams
- A strong computer skill set is needed; Previous PLM software experience and the ability to create and maintain documentation is a necessity
- Proven experience maintaining private label documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Should have a strategical and tactical thinking skill set to ensure lifecycle and completion of multiple projects
