Job description
Residential Services, Inc. is hiring a full-time Accounts Payable Coordinator at our Duluth, MN office. The Accounts Payable Coordinator position will process and maintain accounts payable records for all RSI departments, programs and facilities per established accounts payable and financial procedures. Hours are between 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Salary: $20.00-22.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities: - Follow established procedures, including but not limited to, Accounts Payable and Financial Procedures to carry out job duties.
- Notify the appropriate RSI supervisor of missing receipts or other necessary documentation.
- Utilize current Detailed Chart of Accounts to apply the appropriate general ledger code(s) to all supported or approved vendor invoices and/or statements. Process vendor checks each week according to the established schedule.
- Process any recurring batches for loan payments, rent, etc. with the appropriate weekly check run.
- Use Excel each week to note which programs are not following procedures and which procedures they are not adhering so that the Finance Director may follow up.
- Maintain an orderly system of paid invoices.
- Reconcile all RSI credit cards with the corresponding credit cards statement each month.
- Apply general ledger codes to petty cash expenses and add them to the appropriate weekly check run.
- Use established forms to update and maintain signers according to RSI’s Check Signers Procedures.
- Review expense reimbursements for payment and prepare document profile for payment in Paper Save.
- Provide backup billing support on a regular basis.
- Maintain a “Medical Mileage” spreadsheet and submit monthly billing to St. Louis County.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Director and/or Payroll, Benefits and Financial Manager.
Job Requirements:
Education/Work Experience: A Two-year degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience. At least one year of experience in an Accounts Payable discipline.
