Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-oriented Physician Liaison to join our team and build lasting partnerships with referring physicians in the designated regions that we serve. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in expanding our network, increasing referrals, and driving patient volume to our Early Interventional Daytime Treatment Clinics.

Miracle Kids Success Academy/Kids Unlimited Learning Academy (KULA) is an early intervention day treatment clinic for children with special needs. Once children are referred to KULA by their primary care physicians, they must receive a developmental screening. Then, they may be scheduled for therapy evaluations at KULA or bring recent therapy evaluation reports done elsewhere. To receive Early Intervention Day Treatment habilitation services, a child must have a documented developmental disability or delay, as shown on the results of an annual comprehensive developmental evaluation and qualify for at least one therapy service. Those services include (but are not limited to) fine motor delays, sensory disorders, gross motor delays, speech-language delays, hearing disorders, feeding disorders, developmental delays, cognitive delays and medical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and cultivate strong relationships with physicians, physician groups, and healthcare facilities in the areas that we serve.
• Educate referring physicians on our therapy service programs and their potential benefits for their patients.
• Identify and address referring physicians' concerns and ensure seamless patient transitions between their offices and our clinics.
• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to raise awareness of our services and generate referrals.
• Track and analyze referral data to measure the effectiveness of your efforts and optimize strategies.
• Organize and participate in educational events and conferences for referring physicians.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of physician contacts and interactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (clinical, marketing, and administrative) to ensure smooth and efficient patient referrals.
• Liaise with state agencies, insurance companies and managed care organizations to secure network access into our clinics.
• Travel to physician offices, hospitals, and healthcare facilities as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing, or related field, preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in a physician liaison role.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and referral patterns.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Proven track record of exceeding referral and revenue targets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
