The reporting location for this position is 1516 9 th Street, Sacramento, CA, 95814. This position will work under the direction of a Staff Services Manager I.

Working Conditions

• Energy Safety will utilize a Hybrid Remote/In-person approach enabling staff to telework, when approved by management.

• Energy Safety will use shared workspaces for most staff (hoteling stations) when required to work in the office.

• Proficiency with communications-related technologies, including personal computer applications, telecommunications equipment, Internet, voicemail, email, etc.

• Incumbent may be required to travel, including overnight stays, and on occasion be required to work unusual hours

• Must be willing to work irregular hours, nights, and/or weekends to meet the Department’s business needs.

• Must maintain consistent and acceptable attendance.

Experience in accident investigation or regulatory compliance is preferred but not required.
