Job description
*Position Summary
This position will be an instrumental contributor to our accounting department which handles the daily financial functions for the manufactured home communities' operations, from accounts payable to financial statement preparation. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this position focuses heavily on review and analysis of the general ledger and financial statements, while working with the staff accountants on the entire portfolio of manufactured home communities.

*Position Performance Objectives
- Review and prepare financial statements and variance analyses
- Prepare financial and compliance reporting for lenders and JV partners
- Create and submit capital replacement reserve draw requests to lenders
- Coordinate year-end tax working papers with external CPAs
- Perform tie out of properties' books to tax returns from CPAs
- Perform initial review for wire transactions processed through online banking
- Prepare complex journal entries for acquisitions or refinances
- Assist in onboarding/set-up of new properties, as needed
- Special projects, as assigned
*Key Competencies
- Experience with Rent Manager and AvidXchange preferred
- Master of financial analysis and problem-solving ability
- Must be able to consistently achieve high-level work standards, attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills required
- Strong Excel skills (V look-up, Pivot Tables)
- Follow up and follow through to complete assigned tasks
- Demonstrate initiative with the ability to work independently as well as on team
- Be accountable in all aspects of job duties
- Able to work overtime on occasion in order to meet department goals and deadlines
*Physical Requirements
- Has the ability to work at the corporate office in front of a computer screen/typing approximately 90% of a typical working day
- Has the ability to bend, reach and lift boxes and office supplies up to 30 pounds
*Experience Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in property management accounting
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, must have
- CPA, desired

Salary range: $70,000 to $80,000
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 40 hours per week
