These are all in Valve Assembly and need to pass the sewing test 1st shift 5:00 am - 1:30 pm Pay $ 21.00 2nd Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm Pay $ 23.00 Job Description: Depending on what department they go to, candidates should expect/be prepared to be dealing with pig hearts. Cutting away material, some departments will work under microscope/magnifying glass, assembling material, sewing, working with solutions (dipping), and packaging/labeling. All departments are cleanroom environment so candidates must be ok with fully gowning up (no makeup and no jewelry in the cleanroom). Please prep candidates that there will be a formaldehyde smell. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations. • Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions. • Sets initial layouts, and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s). • Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. • May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. • May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. PRODUCTION SUPPORT CAREER STREAM: Provides support in manufacturing operations and/or distribution centers including assembly, machinery, processing, packaging, and/or distribution of company products. May set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities in machines, with higher levels recommending and/or making adjustments to methods and processes. May be involved in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or storage of products in distribution centers.
