Job Title: Chief Operating and Growth Officer (CGO)

Overview:

Our top priority is achieving growth, and we are seeking a visionary Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to lead our efforts in developing business strategy, creating integrated growth plans, optimizing product distribution, and driving key SaaS metrics to accelerate growth and revenue generation.

More specifically, your responsibilities include growing our student enrollment, reducing operational expenses, diversifying revenue sources, and fostering a high-performance culture centered around goal setting and KPIs. This role offers the opportunity to shape the growth trajectory of our dynamic organization, work within a collaborative and innovative environment, and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

• Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently.

• Resource Management: Allocate resources, including budget, personnel, and technology, to support operational excellence and growth initiatives.

• Cost Control: Focus on cost control, optimizing processes, and minimizing waste.

Change Management:

• Effectively manage organizational change, particularly when implementing strategies that affect the company's operations and growth initiatives.

Risk Management:

• Mitigate risks related to both operations and growth strategies to ensure the company's longterm sustainability.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with other senior executives, department heads, and cross-functional teams to align operational and growth strategies with overall organizational goals.

Measurement and Reporting:

• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress in both operational efficiency and growth efforts.

• Provide regular reports to the executive team and stakeholders on the results of these efforts

Growth Strategy Leadership

● Spearhead the development of business strategy and integrated growth plans, leveraging your expertise in both sales and marketing to drive business growth. Prioritize and execute strategies that accelerate revenue expansion.

● Bring a wealth of experience from your background in sales and marketing to lead our organization in achieving growth objectives. Demonstrate a track record of successfully taking products to market and driving growth, even in resource-constrained environments.

Sales Expertise

● Raise the bar for our sales team by providing leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the sales process and drive revenue growth.

● Oversee and lead the sales and business development teams. Provide strategic guidance, set targets, and monitor performance to achieve sales goals and market expansion.

Marketing Expertise:

● Develop marketing initiatives, strategies, and programs to increase brand awareness and attract new customers. Implement innovative growth strategies and go-to-market plans that position us for success.

● Identify and evaluate potential markets for growth. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends to guide expansion efforts.

Team Growth:

● Build and grow high-performing marketing and sales teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. Serve as a corporate mentor, supporting the professional development of team members.

Strategic Partnerships:

● Identify and forge strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance market presence, open new growth avenues, and align with our long-term objectives.

Community Engagement:

● Be a passionate advocate for authentic leadership and community support. Engage with industry peers, mentor aspiring professionals, and contribute to our corporate culture of giving back.

Qualifications:

● 10-15 years of sales enablement and marketing management experience with a strong ability to develop and execute growth strategies

● Proven track record of success in driving growth and revenue in a B2B SaaS software business.

● Entrepreneurial mindset with a history of achieving results without substantial budgets or large teams.

● Significant experience with sales and marketing technology and operations in order to quickly begin building and scaling the system that will drive growth

● Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

● Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills.

● Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
