Job Title : Senior Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller to join our finance team. This person will play a key role in supporting the Corporate Controller in all aspects of financial management, accounting operations, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability in working complex accounting principles, timely management of month-end close. Ideal candidate will have the desire and ability to grow into the Corporate Controller role.

Essential Duties :

• Assist the Corporate Controller in managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, collections, and vendor payments.

• Conduct variance analysis and financial performance reviews to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.

• Coordinate external audits and provide support to auditors during audit engagements.

• Develop and maintain financial reporting systems, processes, and documentation.

• Mentor and train accounting staff, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and development.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA designation preferred.

5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to effectively partner with all parts of the business.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Leadership qualities with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
