Job description
Minimum Requirements:
- One to two years of customer service experience preferred
- High School Diploma/GED or relevant work history or demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the position
- Must possess strong customer service qualities
- Successful HR File Review, including but not limited to, no disciplinary action at Safeway within past 6 months
- Highly motivated and team oriented
- Ability to travel to other stores and/or Division office
Duties and Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
- Assistant Front End Manager is NOT a Department Manager position.
- This position will be PART TIME, the contractual wage rate is $16.00/hour.
- You MUST be available to work Saturdays and evenings.
- The Assistant Front End Manager will supervise the front end, including registers, customer service desk, self-checkout, and other front-end tasks.
- The Assistant Front End Manager will be responsible for excellent customer service, supervise cashiers, courtesy clerks, service clerks and others working in the front end.
- Applicants must be proficient performing cashier and other duties for periods of time.
- Other duties as may be assigned by management.
