Associate Attorney Position in Boulder, CO Join the law firm of Winget, Spadafora & Schwartzberg, LLP in our Boulder, Colorado office. We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of litigation experience. To be considered for this diverse practice, which includes securities litigation and regulation, commercial litigation, directors' and officers' defense, and professional liability defense work, you must be admitted to the Colorado Bar. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage multiple cases by overseeing all aspects of the litigation process.
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery documents in a timely manner for submission to opposing parties.
- Attend and actively participate in mediations, hearings, and depositions as required for each case.
- Interact with clients to address their concerns and provide effective problem resolution in relation to their legal matters.
- Incorporate best practices and industry standards in handling clients and their cases to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for the presentation of cases.
- Complete reports and projects on time, adhering to partner and client needs and guidelines.
- Accurately record billable hours in a timely manner, following client guidelines and firm policies.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Colorado.
- Should have 1-5 years of experience in litigation.
- Having experience in drafting summary judgment motions and other dispositive motions is a plus.
- Knowledge and familiarity with federal and state rules of civil procedures is required.
- Mediation and trial preparation experience is preferred.
