LCCA is recruiting for a full time Physician Liaison to join an awesome team. The primary responsibility of the Physician Liaison is to
- act as an extension of the physician staff.
- helping to complete vital tasks that interrupt the daily flow of patient and physician scheduling, but need to be completed to ensure that patients receive outstanding care.
- responsible for coordination of physician schedules
- working with all facility teams to ensure continuity of care by assisting with scheduling of other appointments
- informing patients/ nursing department of daily appointments, as well as other duties as assigned.
- Obtain a copy of current daily census from intake staff at hospital facility daily
- answer phone calls and handle inquiries from intake at hospital facility and coordinate patient assignments with providers daily.
- manage the peer review process with insurance companies and assign docs/NP’s to doc-to-doc phone calls with insurance companies for any patients that need additional coverage days.
- attend meetings with providers and hospital staff.
- Assist with scheduling providers as needed and ensure that facility receives timely schedules and updates accordingly.
- Observes all confidentiality regulations.
- Responsible for daily physician schedules and ensuring that all patients are seen according to protocol outlined in Policy and Procedure as set forth by The State of Georgia.
- Will provide schedules seven (7) days per week.
- Responsible for screening all physician notes.
- Develop and distribute monthly on-call schedules for all medical staff.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
A minimum 3+ years’ experience in the healthcare field that includes areas of dictation, medical terminology, and scheduling.
Excellence customer service and service recovery skills.
Proven track record in managing projects, meeting project deadlines and delivering on projects.
