Position: Field Service Engineer
Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite at nearby client locations)
Employment Type: Full Time, Direct Hire
Responsibilities: As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Installing and qualifying Proprietary Semiconductor Equipment for high precision interconnection technology for IC Packaging (Integrated Circuit Packaging).
Analyzing, interpreting, and making critical decisions on process and equipment-related issues.
Interface with customers and internal suppliers to ensure customer issues are addressed promptly.
Providing technical training courses using Company literature and system.
Supporting machine Installation and Qualification (IQ) activities as defined by our customers.
Understanding customer requirements to ensure the system meets specifications.
Analyzing experimental results and formulating professional technical reports for internal and customer use.
Providing technical support (both internal and on customer sites) to international customers and supporting the post-sales process.
Developing and implementing processes at customer sites located worldwide.
Demonstrating excellent verbal, written, and personal relationship communication skills.
Utilizing sound presentation skills with the ability to translate technical data into meaningful information.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of experience working with complex semiconductor equipment or similar.
Associates degree required.
Must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical background is a definite asset.
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
