Job description
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our organization and help design and develop safe, reliable, and cost-effective structures for low and mid-rise buildings. Our Structural Engineer will collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret data from structural tests and reports
- Develop designs for low and mid-rise buildings in accordance with applicable regulations and standards
- Conduct calculations, analyze calculations, and create detailed drawings of structural components
- Inspect and investigate existing structures to identify structural defects
- Determine the most cost-effective and efficient design solutions
- Develop and present reports to project teams and clients
- Participate in post-occupancy evaluations to ensure the structural integrity of buildings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Structural Engineering
- Excellent knowledge of structural components and materials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and other 3D modeling software
