Job description
A multi-billion-dollar manufacturing company is partnering with LaSalle Network in its search for a Controller. Headquartered just north of Chicago, this privately owned manufacturer has a people first culture with on-going training & career development. They’re hiring a Controller that will join their growing team.
In addition to supervising 15 direct reports, this Controller will oversee multiple areas of accounting & will have high visibility to upper management. This role is budgeted up to $200,000 with fully paid for medical benefits.
Controller Responsibilities:
Oversee & maintain the full month end close including journal entries, bank & account reconciliations, etc
Will also oversee areas like AP, AR, treasury, & the general ledger
Will be handling multiple state, local, federal and international tax reporting, filing and data tracking
Will act as a financial liaison with all company departments including sales, supply chain, & logistics
Creating financial statements for the Senior Director & management team to review
Controller Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field
Experience with a mid-large sized manufacturing company highly preferred
Prior public accounting experience preferred
CPA preferred but not required
