Job Summary:
Are you a project management guru with a skill for managing multiple priorities and timelines? If so, Hulu is looking for their next “Hulugan” to join their marketing operations team! As the Associate Operations Manager, you will lead the definition of Go-To-Market (GTM) plans, dates and scopes for Small and Extra Small Content campaigns, Awards, Events and ad hoc marketing asset needs. In this role, you will partner with Senior GTM Leads, Hulu Marketing, and Disney Streaming to deliver campaigns to market successfully. Additionally, you should be prepared to run day-to-day project management and provide consistent reports on project status and health. Ultimately, you will be an expert in all day-to-day functions, technologies and the trafficking of all marketing asset types across Hulu and Disney channels. In this dynamic role, the Associate Marketing Operations Manager should be thorough, proactive, and understand that the position provides key information to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare GTM Leads for key planning meetings with Executive across Originals and Acquired & Licensed Marketing.
- Participate in cross-functional scope of work (SOW) meetings with Campaign Management, Creative and Channel Owners to define, document and track the scope of campaigns, inclusive of key deliverables, internal creative teams, external vendors, media partners, etc.
- Manage campaign assets, timelines and other critical information in internal tracking systems.
- Partner with GTM Leads to ensure all GTM dependencies have been identified and individual team timelines are congruent with the overall GTM plan.
- Identify GTM risks and proactively mitigate them in partnership with other business units.
- For Small and Extra Small campaigns, facilitate key moments of “recalibration” based on shifting dates, scope or business priorities.
- Understand service level agreements (SLAs) for other business units including, but not limited to, product, Legal, Disney S&P, Disney Broadcast Synergy, International/Disney+, On Channel In-Stream, Paid Media and Testing/Insights and communicate them to impacted stakeholders.
- Ensure Clearance Reviews for high impact assets are completed with Brand/Creative Operations (CROPS), Legal, Disney S&P, music licensing.
- Become an expert in and steward of Hulu brand guidelines, partnering closely with CROPS to develop branding guidelines per campaign and disseminate them to internal creative teams and external vendors.
- Manage post-production finishing of all AV and static assets in partnership with Disney studios, external partners, finishing houses, DMED and CROPS.
- Gather asset specifications (creative, technical and delivery) from Channel Owners and ensure resources are fulfilling those requests end to end.
- Understand the resourcing process and limitations.
- Ensure all assets have been sufficiently QC’d and approved before delivery to market.
- Consistently distill and provide weekly status reports to all Content stakeholders.
- Be aware of and govern adherence team processes whenever possible.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Experience in project management with client-facing / service-oriented responsibilities.
- Experience creating presentations.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Sharp attention to detail.
- Standout colleague with good problem-solving skills.
- Certifications in Scrum or PMP is a plus.
- Some experience in post-production finishing is a plus.
- Experience and familiarity with video production technical specs and software (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, etc.) a plus.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat as well as Google Docs.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $70,000.00 to $93,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
