Position: Desktop Support
JOB REF#: 42103 - 61817
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Location: ONSITE - Nashville, TN 37243
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour (W2 Only)
** This role is 100% ONSITE (Local Candidate Only)**
HOURS: MON-FRI - 8:30am - 5:00 pm (37.50 Hours per week)
Provide Desktop computer support, with an emphasis on desktop computer problem resolution. This is 100% an in-office position in Nashville and parking will be provided.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installing desktop computer hardware and software and provides technical and customer support for these products.
- Provides customer support to both on-site and remote users.
- Analyzes users' system problems and provides solutions.
- Works with teams of analysts, programmers, and users in application development environments.
- Tests and may write the technical documentation prepared for software or hardware installation.
Desktop support:
- Windows OS and application installs
- Mac OS and iPhone IOS
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft O365
- SharePoint
- Outlook
Customer support and training:
- Ticket tracking (Dynamics and ServiceNow)
- End user support
- End user training
- Inventory and product support
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of experience providing Desktop support, installing desktop computer hardware and software and provides technical and customer support for these products.
- Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite, Novell and Unix Operating Systems (OS).
- Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Mac OS and iPhone IOS; Microsoft Teams; Microsoft O365; SharePoint; and Outlook.
- Experience using ticketing systems to track calls and documentation (ie ServiceNow or Dynamics)
- Secondary skill set comprises other office automation tools and the ability to identify and correct hardware malfunctions.
