Our client is seeking an adept Information Security Analyst to join their team. This remote role offers the chance to be a hero from the comfort of your own fortress. Are you up for the challenge?
As our Information Security Analyst, you'll be on the front lines of defense, protecting our digital kingdom from nefarious threats. Your quest will include:
- Analyzing security incidents to uncover the nature and scope of potential threats.
- Investigating and responding to security events with the speed and agility of a cyber ninja.
- Crafting and maintaining incident response plans and procedures to ensure swift and effective countermeasures.
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to fortify our defenses against potential weaknesses.
- Keeping a vigilant watch for the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Documenting security incidents with meticulous detail, from impact assessments to remediation steps.
To embark on this epic quest, you'll need:
- Seven (7) years of experience in a security operations center (SOC) or related security role; OR
- An Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or a related field, along with five (5) years of information systems experience in a security operations center (SOC) or related security role.
