Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in specialty applying for. American Heart Association BLS Certification is required. ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, etc. may also be required for some units (Career Placement Specialist will specify).

JOB DESCRIPTION Nurses will care for patients that are not unstable enough to require ICU care, but still must have closer monitoring and more frequent assessments. PCU and telemetry nurses employ computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information, and are able to detect changes and enable interventions before a life-threatening situation occurs.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of current critical care experience and uphold the mandatory BCLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certification consists of a critical care course.
