Aerotek is Hiring for Chemical Operator - $21/hr

Description:
Chemical Operator will follow prescribed formulas to manufacture various chemical products. The operator will be responsible for the operation of process equipment, tending or controlling units and systems that process chemicals into finished products. There are 3 separate departments:
Liquid:
Mainly working with Iodine and performing distillation to a final liquid state. Will take samples of product and perform pH, titrations and viscosity.
Reactor:
Hazardous material, very safety oriented individuals, mainly adding 1 chemical to another (compounding)
Gas:
Working with fluoride to make a slurry/dry blend. Mix products and package out into drums.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must Haves: HS Diploma or GED 1+ years of manufacturing Reliable Preferred: 1+ years of chemical manufacturing experience Able to read and operate off batch sheets
