They are looking for an experienced and driven Design Engineer to join their team.
Main duties of the Design Engineer include:- Lead design reviews with customers, suppliers and other departments to ensure accurate designs/drawings.
- Travel to customers and suppliers as needed and communicate with them directly to resolve any technical issues.
- Manage multiple projects at the same time, ensuring all are on track.
- Perform mechanical engineering calculations along with 3D CAD designs/drawings to ensure design requirements are met.
- Adhere to GD&T principles.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 6+ years of experience as a design engineer
- Catia V5 experience required
- Experience with composites is highly preferred
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must be comfortable with traveling roughly 10%
