Program Overview:
The Child Care Providers United Training Fund, part of our coalition in California, is dedicated to elevating the leadership of family child care providers, the majority of whom are women of color and immigrants. These providers play a crucial role in California's workforce, offering essential care services and contributing to economic vitality and community well-being. Our aim is to ensure that all children, regardless of background, have access to quality early childhood education, laying the groundwork for their future success.
Position Summary:
We are thrilled to welcome a passionate Tuition Assistance Coordinator to join our team for the California Training & Professional Development Program. In this role, you will oversee the scholarship delivery process for our Early Child Care (ECC) training programs, providing vital support to our members. Collaboration with team members and ensuring seamless management of educational benefits are central to this position.
Responsibilities:
Assist providers with queries and admissions procedures.
Deliver exceptional customer service through various channels.
Coordinate the application process, from submission to approval.
Provide education counseling to maximize benefit opportunities.
Organize informational events to promote program awareness.
Maintain program evaluation data and relevant documentation.
Generate program reports to track success and address challenges.
Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:
Two-plus years of experience coordinating multifaceted programs.
Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Adaptability to evolving challenges and opportunities in a startup environment.

Excellent communication skills across diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual proficiency, especially in English and Spanish, Somali, Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, or Russian.
