Residential Solar Sales
- Setting and attaining individual sales goals.
- Educate clients on the benefits of renewable energy with the purpose of generating interest.
- Customize solar energy products and systems depending on the customer's needs.
- Become an expert in solar energy through our leadership and training programs so you can properly serve the marketplace.
- Revisit installed solar customers to gather testimonial data for ongoing market and to educate about our ELC referral program.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets, sharing insights and best practices to enhance overall sales effectiveness
- Assist customers in completing necessary paperwork and contracts for solar system installation, financing, and incentives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and addressing any post-sale inquiries or concerns
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, environmental science, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in solar energy, renewable energy, or a related industry
- Familiarity with solar energy products, systems, and industry trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence potential customers
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and meet sales targets
- Ability to understand technical aspects of solar energy systems and convey this knowledge in a clear and accessible manner to customers
- Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to conduct site visits and meet with customers
- Any relevant sales certifications or licenses in the solar or renewable energy field (desired, but not mandatory)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer schedules and achieve sales goals
