Job description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee all aspects of electrical projects in our organization’s contracting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful completion of projects within budget and on time, managing change orders, scheduling projects, and managing relationships with our clients. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and professional skills, and successful candidates should have a proven track record of delivering results and continuous improvement in their work.

Position Overview: The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for the successful completion of electrical projects within a specified budget and timeframe. The position will include management of change orders, scheduling, estimating, and relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of electrical projects including cost control, scheduling, change orders, and communication.
• Negotiate contracts with clients and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Analyze project objectives and develop plans for successful completion.
• Prepare detailed estimates for all projects.
• Monitor project progress and quality control.
• Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with safety and other building codes.
• Identify potential problems and develop solutions.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in electrical contracting and Accubid.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and professional skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Project.
• Experience in delivering results and continuous improvement in the workplace.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
