This technology driven company provides risk and insurance management solutions. If you are a Tax Accountant looking to jump back into the work force, this is the role for you!
Tax Accountant Responsibilities:
Process tax exemption certificates for exempt clients
Reconcile sales tax account – including working with AR team to ensure accuracy of invoicing of taxes
Review changes to sales product taxability, understand products sold to ensure correct tax codes
Review items/products in ERP (Intacct) to ensure accuracy of tax codes used to invoice
Determine when the company needs to file in new jurisdictions and get set up new jurisdictions, as needed, including registration
Assist in client communications regarding sales tax questions
Prepare monthly and quarterly returns and payments
Tax Accountant Requirements:
3+ years of Tax experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Strong Organizational and problem-solving skills
1+ year of Corporate Tax Experience
