Job description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain financial records and prepare financial reports in an accurate and timely manner. The Senior Accountant will also be expected to assist in creating internal controls, budgets, and projections. The role will involve working collaboratively with other team members and departments to achieve the highest quality of financial reporting.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include:
- Maintaining and reconciling general ledgers and associated journals.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Processing payroll.
- Processing accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Maintaining and monitoring fixed asset accounts.
- Preparing and processing various month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assisting in the preparation of internal control policies and procedures.
- Creating and maintaining budgets and financial projections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in High-Tech Manufacturing/High-Tech Industry
- Proficiency in Excel, accounting software such as NetSuite or Trinite, and bill.com.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
