Job description
Job Responsibilities
This position will:
- Work with customers to define, design and propose alternative solutions in response to changing business needs.
- Work with customers to troubleshoot reported issues.
- Provide system administration support.
- Must be able and willing to work weekends and evenings to support on-call responsibilities as needed is required.
Required Experience & Skills
- Five years software engineering experience including code development, scripting, workflow and data mapping.
- Five years mainframe support experience: COBOL, IMS (DB), DB2, CICS, JCL
- Advanced computer system skills including use of word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and/or as a team member.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- PACCAR systems experience a plus
Education (List required and/or preferred education)
- A four-year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field desired.
Physical Demands
- Sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time
