Job description

Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Journeyman Electrician will have the following Qualifications:
· Journeyman Electrician Certificate
· Mandatory Safety tickets: H2S Alive, CSTS/CSO, First Aid
· Must be team-oriented, Safety Conscious
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
Note:
· 14 on / 14 off 11.5 hour continuous shift rotation (CWW) cycle.
· Camp accommodations provided.
· Flights provided out of Calgary or Edmonton
Responsibilities:
· Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications.
· Installing, examining, replacing or repairing; electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, light fixtures and other electrical components.
· Maintaining, repairing, testing and installing electrical motors, generators.
· Conducting preventative maintenance programs.
· Any other duties that may be deemed necessary.
Requirements

• H2S Alive, CSTS/CSO, Standard 1st Aid,
• Fall Arrest, Elevated Work Platform Always an asset if you do have
• Minimum 3 year related experience in the field.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, Decent driver’s abstract
• Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
